Biography

Kimberly completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Truman State University in 2022. During her undergraduate studies, she additionally obtained minors in Anthropology and Disability Studies. She received a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (MA) at Truman State University in the fall of 2025. Tracy Parks, LPC, serves as her supervisor. Kimberly's diverse academic background and unique skill set enable her to provide valuable support to students at UCS by addressing their mental health and career concerns through counseling.

Kimberly is deeply committed to her counseling journey. She explicitly focuses on utilizing cognitive behavioral and humanistic therapy in her practice. She customizes her approach to ensure that her clients receive thorough and holistic treatment, emphasizing addressing their emotional, mental, and overall well-being.

Kimberly, a native of Kirksville, Missouri, is profoundly dedicated to advocating for mental health awareness, promoting overall well-being, fostering meaningful connections, and championing diversity and inclusion. These values are the cornerstone of her professional endeavors and reflect her unwavering determination to effect positive change in mental health.

In addition to her counseling work, Kimberly discovers immense joy in exploring new destinations and embarking on exciting adventures with her loved ones. She is passionate about actively engaging with her community and eagerly participates in various activities.
