Biography

Dr. Nathaniel Holte, a proud Kirksville native, brings specialized expertise in Foot and Ankle Surgery back to his hometown community. His interest in medicine was sparked early, growing up in a family of healthcare professionals. His personal experience with ankle injuries during his college soccer career further ignited his curiosity and dedication to the complexities of foot and ankle pathology.

Dr. Holte completed an intense three-year surgical program at Iowa Methodist Medical Center – the only Level 1 Trauma Center in Des Moines. During this rigorous training, he gained comprehensive experience treating a wide variety of foot and ankle pathologies, including traumatic open ankle fractures, bunions, sports medicine injuries, and reconstructive and elective forefoot surgeries.

“The most fulfilling part of my profession is witnessing the immediate impact of my care. There is incredible satisfaction in seeing patients walk in with pain and walk out free of discomfort, or recover swiftly from an injury that once limited their mobility. Knowing I play a role in improving their quality of life is truly rewarding.”
