Julie Ladd, FNP-C

Julie Ladd, FNP-C, is an AANP board certified Family Nurse Practitioner who joined Complete Family Medicine in October 2024. Julie floats between our Urgent Care locations in Brookfield, Chillicothe, Macon, Moberly, and Kirksville. She also works with Dr. McIntire in the General Surgery Clinic in Kirksville. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and graduated with honors in 2015 at Graceland University, where she graduated with her Master’s Degree in Nursing with honors in 2019. Julie is experienced in Gastroenterology/Hepatology, Geriatric Long-Term Care, and Acute Rehabilitation.

Julie knew in her early years that she had a passion for people and healthcare. Her passion started at the age of 7 as she helped her mom through her battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. She began her journey into healthcare by obtaining her Nursing Assistant Certification in her senior year of high school and attending college at the local community college completing prerequisites for nursing school. Upon completing her CNA program, she began working in an Alzheimer’s/Dementia nursing home. She has continued to advance her degree to allow her to care for patients on all levels of care.

Julie was raised in rural central Missouri with a second weekend home/farm in New Boston, MO. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, crafting, and about anything outdoors (Hunting, fishing, gardening, horseback riding, etc.). She recently acted as a travel nurse practitioner traveling the United States for a year and a half but is excited to be back in the area near family permanently.
