Elizabeth East, PA-C

Biography

Liz East is a licensed and certified Physician Assistant working in the Moberly Urgent Care. In 2022, she both graduated from Stephens College with her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and passed her National Certifying Exam. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Truman State University in 2016.

Liz grew up in Rolla, MO, and spent her weekends and summers helping her father at his veterinary clinic, which first sparked her interest in medicine. She spent many hours during undergrad volunteering at Northeast Regional Medical Center in the ER and taking an EMT course while in school full-time. Before PA school, Liz worked as a CNA at Kirksville Manor Care Center and was a stay-at-home Mom. She is passionate about providing high-quality care in a rural setting where patients would otherwise not have access to treatment. She especially enjoys suturing, which allows her to slow down and converse with patients longer than usual.

Liz and her husband, Cameron, have four children. They spend most of their time outside of work running to dance class, gymnastics, and cub scouts. When they do have free time, they enjoy motorcycle rides, float trips, spending time with family, swimming, and visiting the Lake of the Ozarks, where Cameron works in the fire department.
