Sarah Ernst, FNP-BC

Biography

Sarah Ernst, FNP-BC, joined Complete Family Medicine in July of 2021. She received her Associate Degree in Nursing from Moberly Area Community College in 2005 and started work as a registered nurse. In 2009 she finished her undergraduate nursing education and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She then completed her Master’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati in August of 2019 and became certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner in November of 2019.

Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Sarah worked in intensive care, organ transplant, and medical-surgical units and as a travel nurse. She chose the family practice specialty because it allows for her to care for patients and families from birth through old age. “I am passionate about ending generational poor health. My goals as a nurse practitioner are to promote health and prevent disease so individuals can pursue their life purpose.”

Sarah is a Kirksville native and returned to the area to give back to the community. She and her family have lived in Green City since 2017. In her spare time, she enjoys hunting, fishing, and working out.

Starting January 9, 2023, Sarah will be providing primary care services at CFM's Crown Clinic along with Dr. Michael Early.
