Collections Practice
In the event that a patient or guarantor does not pay for services within 120 days after insurance processes the claim (or the date of service if no insurance), Complete Family Medicine will turn over the statement amount to Wakefield and Associates, a collections agency. Complete Family Medicine will attempt to send four statements to the address listed on file for the patient as well as attempt a final phone call to the patient or guarantor.
